Nearly 85% of the world identifies as religious, but in the United States and abroad, many people shy away from potentially incredible interpersonal relationships because of a lack of knowledge about or discomfort with religion. France Brumley, a scholar of religious literacy and lawyer in training, explores the intersection of American politics and religion in her research, and aims to encourage all of us to be curious enough to connect more deeply as a foundational aspect of building a more peaceful society.
